On the ground floor our well proportioned cottage has its own private entrance, a utility room, a fitted kitchen / dining room, hall, living room and bathroom with shower. On the first floor there are double, triple and single bedrooms and a bathroom with bath. 6 persons can be accommodated comfortably. In addition, we have an open fire in the living room, heating is provided by electric storage and panel heaters. The first 100 units of electricity used are free. Units above this are charged at electricity board rates.
In the kitchen / utility room; washing machine, indoor drying facilities, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, toaster, ironing facilities and a large assortment of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. In the living room there is a colour TV, dvd player, video recorder, CD / radio system and a selection of traditional games and books. There is also a colour TV and dvd player in the double bedroom. The property lies in half an acre of garden which is available for the use of our guests, with a large south facing patio fronting the property with garden furniture. Private car parking is available for 2 cars.
Basic cleaning materials, all bed linen, tea towels and cloths are provided. We can supply freshly laundered towels for a small charge. We also provide a complimentary 'welcome pack' of essential groceries such as tea, coffee, milk and sugar.
Please note that under UK legislation smoking is not permitted in the cottage. Bicycles can be locked in the garage.
